Welcome to St Giles

Like most country churches in England, Nether Whitacre Church can look back across centuries. There are indications that there has been a church on this site from before the Norman conquest of 1066, but this is difficult to confirm.

Renovation and changes have been made over the centuries with the result that the church today is largely Victorian.

It is still a place of worship, has been united with the parish of St John, Lea Marston and is now part of a larger parish known as the United Benefice of the Whitacres with Shustoke.
